why did it seem so alone?

i went out for a walk tonight, the reason i am not so sure of... but it was well worth it. the air was crisp, the night was clear and there was only a couple of stars out, the brightest ones. as i looked up into the sky, i saw a shooting star. it was like one of those that you see in the movies, clear, bright, and radiant. it made me feel good inside and yet very small....
